Woo hoo!

Poem: Woo hoo!

When i think of you

I can’t help but smile from ear to ear

Much loudly I wish that I could cheer!

When you do well

I punch the air

I jump up and down

Do a cartwheel

And I do not care!

Review: Woo hoo!

The poet sure is happy and experiencing a moment of joy when they are thinking of someone. How wonderful it is to think of a person where just the very thought of that special someone can trigger a warm and delightful feeling inside and produce a smile. You know dear reader, the sort of smile where it feels as though you’re beaming or you’re smiling so much it feels like your face is going to crack! A bit ‘ouch’ but very lovely, (there are creams to fix the ouch and to fill the cracks so need to worry)

Who has caused this? Who needs to foot the bill for the facial creams?( I jest of course!) I read on to find out who it could be but it’s not that sort of a poem. No one specifically is mentioned.

There is no one to blame for anything here. It’s a celebratory poem wanting the best for someone and when they do well it is truly delightful.

Is that not the answer to happiness? Where wishing someone well is truly rewarding. It Inspires to do more of it and encourages others to do the same. Guess what dear reader? Without realising, it goes around and comes back to you! Someone, whoever that is, wants you too to do well, to achieve and is delighted. They get a buzz and are getting a natural high from it!

It’s fun to imagine that someone is so happy they punch the air, jump up and down and do a cartwheel. That’s a very fit and active poet!

Loving the rhyming of ‘ear to ear’ with ‘cheer’

and

‘I punch the air’ with ‘do not care’

A great engaging title. A term of excitement and joy!

A smile inducing read.

Woo hoo! is what I definitely say to you dear reader.
